Birth Doula Support
Birth Doula Support includes at least 2 prenatal visits to determine specific family needs and preferences. On call 24-hour phone support from 38 weeks until birth. Physical, spiritual, and emotional labor and birth support. Early breastfeeding or bonding support. Services are available for most Northern NJ hospitals, NYC hospitals, in addition to home birth support. A Postpartum visit will be scheduled within two weeks of delivery based on the needs of mother and baby.

Childbirth Education Classes
Group or Private Childbirth Education classes are offered. Classes consist of 4-6 sessions covering the six Lamaze care practices, exploring birth preferences, understanding labor progression, evidence-based best maternity practices, breastfeeding basics, and newborn care. Classes are available in person or via Zoom.

Postpartum Doula Support
Postpartum in-home doula care following your birth can offer physical and emotional support after the birth of your baby. Services can be tailored to meet the needs of each family, but commonly include getting settled at home, newborn care education, infant feeding support (including breastfeeding, pumping, and formula feeding), overnight infant care, and light housekeeping tasks such as folding laundry, loading/emptying dishwasher, washing bottles and pump parts, etc).

Lactation Counseling is available in your home to enhance your breastfeeding relationship. We can overcome some breastfeeding challenges to meet the goals of the mother baby dyad. This service is also beneficial for mothers with any breast feeding concerns including breast and nipple discomfort, latch concerns, weaning, establishing pumping protocol, and maintaining breastfeeding relationship when returning to work outside the home.
