, Welcome! My name is Alison Chiappetta. I have been passionate about parents and babies for many years, but the transition into motherhood solidified my sense that infant and maternal health was my path. I have trained extensively as a Lamaze Childbirth Educator, DONA Certified Birth Doula, Certified Postpartum Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor. I continue my education with additional learning opportunities in lactation, postpartum care,
and infant and maternal health. I have been a guest speaker at several conferences and events as well as Community Educator for many local organizations, and a Childbirth Education teacher at Montclair State University. I have been invited to more than 60 births, have provided exceptional postpartum support for over 75 families,  and have counseled hundreds of mothers seeking breastfeeding support.

I am confident that parents are the experts on their children, but that many families can benefit from the support and information provided by professional birth workers. I aim to share my knowledge and expertise to enhance your experience.

I am the mother of 3 precious girls. My husband, Joe, our daughters, and I reside in Glen Rock,NJ. Through our personal experiences, we understand and value the gift of pregnancy and birth and postpartum support. I valued my own trusted support resources to help guide me through experiences and challenges along the way.
